Renewed Call for Public Help After Frosty Treats Shooting, Robbery

LUBBOCK, TX (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Lubbock Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in regards to the attempted robbery and aggravated assault of two “Frosty Treat’s” employees that occurred 7-26-2014 at Andy’s Ice-cream located at 8601 Ash ave. At approximately 10:30 p.m. that date, a thin built black male subject brandishing a small semi-automatic hand-gun, accosted the two male employees and demanded money. The assailant fired at the men and critically wounded both before fleeing in a mid-90’s white Lincoln Town-car.

Crime Line is offering a reward for any information that leads to the arrest and indictment of any suspect(s) involved in this crime. Persons with information are encouraged to call Crime line at 741-1000. Their call will remain anonymous.
