LUBBOCK, TX -- A Crime Stoppers reward of $250 was announced Thursday for information leading to the whereabouts of Andrew Peña, 26, of Plainview. His family also added another $500 for a total reward of $750.

Peña turned up missing more than two weeks ago. Amanda Peña, Andrew’s cousin, said the family is devastated over his disappearance on April 6.

“He’s had no contact,” Amanda said. That includes social media, which she said is not like Andrew at all.

“He called his kids every day,” she said. And he would update his social media every day - but not after April 6.

A friend dropped off Andrew Peña for a nighttime bus ride to Cactus for a job. He never showed up.

As for what happened; “We have no idea,” Amanda said. “That’s why the family is putting out more money for the reward because somebody knows something.”

“Just have an ear open,” Amanda said. “Any information would be helpful. Anything they think would help [please share].”

The family has a Facebook page for Andrew

Someone with information can call the Plainview/Hale County Crime Stoppers at 806-293-8477 (293-TIPS)  The call can remain anonymous.
