LUBBOCK, TX (PRESS RELEASE) - Gather up the kids and head over to Safety City for a Mardi Gras Children’s and Pet Parade on Saturday, February 18, 2017, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
The event starts off from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. with the Pre-Party where you will be able to ride around Safety City while you show off your decorated bikes, strollers, wagons, shoe boxes, and anything else you can push, pull, or ride around Safety City. The Mardi Gras Children’s and Pet Parade will begin at 1:45 p.m. Dogs in costume and on leash are also welcome as there will be a krewe designated just for them. We will line up the Krewe of Barkus and the Krewe of Kids and then parade around Safety City. Admission is free!
