LUBBOCK, TX (NEWS RELEASE) - WHAT: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Student Physical Therapy Association will host the Kickin’ into Motion kickball tournament benefiting the University Medical Center Health System (UMC) Timothy J. Harner Regional Burn Center.
WHEN: 8 a.m., April 22 (Saturday)
WHERE: Rocky Johnson Softball Field, 1002 Cancer Center Drive
EVENT: Registration is $100 per team, which covers entry, t-shirts and the chance to win door prizes. Teams will compete in a double-elimination tournament with a two-game guarantee.
The UMC Timothy J. Harner Regional Burn Center is one of four regional burn centers in Texas. The center covers the third largest geographic area of all burn centers, serving all of West Texas, parts of New Mexico, Western Oklahoma and Southern Texas. Through the affiliation with the TTUHSC School of Medicine, UMC Timothy J. Harner Burn Center is a driving force for research in burn treatment.
