LUBBOCK, TX (KAMC NEWS) - Are you a fan of South Plains politics? Here are your Talking Points for this week.

The Public Utility Commission of Texas on Thursday approved Lubbock’s request to join ERCOT (the Electric Reliability Council of Texas). However, LP&L has contractual obligations with Xcel Energy that would not, at this time, allow for a complete move into ERCOT.
Also, we'll have a recap all the local, state and national political news.
