TAHOKA, TX - The City of Tahoka has announced that water will be shut off on Thursday, April 20, while crews connect new water lines to the existing water line system.
The water will be turned off at 9:00 a.m. and should be off for 1 to 2 hours.
Since the water is being turned off, a Boil Water Notice will be put in place until samples can be taken to the laboratory and cleared.
Contractors will be barricading the intersection of North 60th Street and Avenue J on Wednesday in preparation for the work on Thursday.
The barricades will block off the intersection, so please avoid that area until the tie-in is completed.
If you have any questions please contact City Hall at 806-561-4211
