MORTON, TX -- According to the Levelland & Hockley County News Press, a suspect was indicted this month in Cochran County for the December 1, 2013 arson that reduced the First United Methodist Church in Morton to an empty brick shell and ashes.

Aaron Angel Trinidad, 19, was arrested shortly after the fire and charged with first-degree felony arson. There is no indication that the indictment alleges anything different than the original charge.

Video taken by MuleshoeTV.com shows the building completely gutted with only the outer brick walls still standing.
