CLOVIS, NM -- According to reports in both the Clovis News Journal and the Albuquerque Journal, Clovis will get air service to Dallas/Fort Worth. Boutique Air was chosen by the Clovis Civil Aviation Board and the City Council. Boutique was also approved for a for a $3.89 million subsidy over two years.

“Clovis and Boutique have wanted to get in the door at DFW,” the Albuquerque Journal reported in March.

“Boutique [expects] to offer 18 round trips per week from Clovis beginning next month,” the Clovis News Journal reported on Wednesday. CNJ also reported that Boutique would hire two or three employees specific to Clovis.

These are not huge planes; they seat nine passengers.

One page on the company website said, “Our aircraft have amenities designed to make the flying experience as comfortable as it gets, including leather seats, power outlets, and an enclosed lavatory - second in comfort only to your living room.”

Flights to Dallas will take an estimated one hour and 45 minutes. Albuquerque is not currently a destination but the company told both newspapers that could change later on.
