Juan Olague, 24, was arrested after searching the vehicle he was driving and finding drugs during a traffic stop in Odessa on Thursday, police say.
The traffic stop was made after police say a 2005 Dodge that Olague was driving was parked illegally near the 2700 block of Alleghany.
Officers found more than four grams of cocaine, a bag of marijuana and a scale during a vehicle search.
Olague told cops he was "just trying to make a living", according to police.
Olague faces multiple charges that include Manufacturing or Delivery of a Controlled Substance Possession of Marijuana, and Driving While License Invalid with a Prior Conviction, according to police.
