ABILINE, TX -- An Abilene mother has been indicted on allegations of exposing her two children to methamphetamine.

Marissa Santana was arrested last year on a charge of endangering a child after the hair follicles of her two young children, then ages five and three, tested positive for meth.

Santana claimed she never smoked meth around her children, but she did admit to smoking it in her home. Santana said she was unaware that the smoke from meth could crystallize on surfaces such as furniture and clothing – which would the expose her children.
