IRVING, TX – AAA Texas reported Thursday that retail gasoline prices across the state had dropped by 2 cents this week. The average price at the pump in Texas had settled to $3.26 per gallon

The most expensive gasoline prices in the state could be found in El Paso at $3.33 per gallon. The lowest prices were in Amarillo where the price is $3.20 per gallon.

Nationwide gasoline prices dropped a penny this week to an average of $3.43 per gallon.

AAA says gas prices are trending downward because of stable global supplies that are not being affected by tensions in Syria, Ukraine and elsewhere.
