WICHITA FALLS, TX -- The Wichita County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday named little Corbin Cohn, 3, as an honorary deputy.

Corbin was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, and has endured three open-heart surgeries. His condition is a complex and rare heart defect where the left side of the heart is critically underdeveloped - forcing causing the right side of the heart to do all the work.

Corbin’s family said he loves emergency vehicles, the sirens, and flashing lights.  His family also said Corbin is delighted to become a special part of the force.  He received a badge, a certificate and a pair of handcuffs.
