Help the Red Cross of Lubbock Celebrate Turn 100 at Birthday Celebration

LUBBOCK, TX - The Red Cross of Lubbock will be holding their "Red Cross Centennial Celebration" this Saturday, August 26th, to celebrate 100 years of the Red Cross in the South Plains.

The Lubbock Police Department and Fire Department will be at the event with cars and a fire truck for the public to view. There will also be games for the kids, mini train rides and music. 

The Lubbock Food Truck Alliance will have different types of food available for purchase. The Red Cross will also be there and will have information available about different programs they have in the local area.

The event will be held at McAllister Park from 10 a. m. to 6 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
