Who: The Lubbock Lions Club, founded in 1929, is the largest Lions Club in North America
What: 62ndAnnual Pancake Festival. A festive atmosphere with fabulous entertainment, melt in your
mouth pancakes and activities for the entire family. Plenty of product has been ordered to fulfill
the Club’s promise of “all-you-can eat”. Just imagine the size of the following order:

Milk-14,100 cartons Bubble Gum 3,850 pieces
For a token or $1.00 per item, guests can enjoy a scoop of blueberry or strawberry topping and/ or
a serving of bacon (2 pieces). Splurge and add all 3 it ems to your plate—you’ll be glad you did!
Raffle prizes include a 50” flat screen HDTV, a stainless steel 4 burner outdoor gas grill with side burner,
a sterling silver necklace, two tickets to the rock musical HAIR and a gift certificate redeemable for 2 football tickets to
the Texas Tech/Central Arkansas football game.
Special Needs Assistance: Look for the Special Needs Sign on NE corner of the Civic Center to enter exhibit hall.

7:00 am – 8:00 pm (From breakfast thru dinner)
Tickets: $5.00 in advance; $6.00 at the door. Children under 2 – FREE
Advance tickets are available from any *club member, *at the Lubbock Lions Club office, 763-4789,
* at all Bolton locations, and online at * lubbocklions.org until 3pm Friday, Feb21. When you
purchase your tickets online, you can pick them up at will call the day of the event and walk
directly into the event hall.
WHY: So that we may give back to the community! Each year the Lubbock Lions Club donates all
of the profits raised from the Pancake Festival fundraiser to charities. Some of the organizations
that benefited from the $89,291.72 we raised last year include the Adult Eyeglass Program,
Boy Scout Troop 157, LISD Eyeglasses for Children, Children’s Miracle Network, Meals on Wheels,
The Salvation Army, Sick Children’s Clinic of Lubbock, YWCA Adaptive Aquatics Program and the
Texas Lions Camp for children with special needs (Lubbock children attend this camp for free).
The Lubbock Lions Club is guided by the motto “We Serve”.
