KAMC's 'Wish Wednesday' series shares the stories of 'wish kids' right here on the South Plains and gives you an inside look into the great things the Make-A-Wish chapter of the Texas Plains South is doing for those kids with life-threatening illnesses.
Torrence Spence, 7, is battling brain cancer.
At just 18 months old, doctors discovered a tumor in the center of her brain.
She's now undergoing her fourth chemo treatment after several relapses.
Throughout it all, Torrence's mom, Traci, says her daughter had just one wish and that was to visit the set of the hit television show, Dancing with the Stars.
Watch Torrence's story by clicking 'play' on the video box.
It costs on average $7,000 to grant a wish like Torrence's wish.
If you would like to donate, and remember all the money stays right here on the South Plains, contact Make-A-Wish at 785-9474 or visit www.facebook.com/wishlubbock.
