Several area cyclists put in some time on the bike today as a local group called the 'Carney Men' hosted a Spin-a-Thon in front of Cardinals Cports center on Slide Road from 11am to 4pm on Saturday.

The Carney Men are a team of men and women who ride in the MS-150 bike ride that goes from Midland to Post, all in order to raise money in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. They spent this afternoon on spin bikes, riding for five straight hours, and raising money for a cause that is very close to all of their hearts.

The Carney Men and the National MS Society work together to create a world free of multiple Sclerosis. MS is a debilitating disease that affects the central nervous system and affects nearly 400,000 Americans. Click on the links below to find out more ways you can get involved to fight MS.
