Tuesday night featured a huge boys match-up between the co-leaders of district 2-5A as Amarillo Tascosa welcomed in the Coronado Mustangs, with both teams sitting at 11-1 in District play.

Tascosa drew first blood, as Darious Polley hit one from the wing to give the Rebels the three point lead.

It was a see-saw battle, as Coronado’s Duncan Douglas went baseline drawing the contact, but didn’t get the call, but that would tie things up.

On the other end the Rebels stayed red hot as Parker Davidson drilled a three of his own, and on the other end flying down the other end Douglas threw a nice alley-oop to Devondric Meadows, as Coronado tied the game right back up.

Tascosa couldn't miss from the outside early, as Ethan Colley hit his own three ball, but every time Tascosa would do something mustangs would answer Douglas another great assist this time to Trey Culver Coronado led by six at half.
