Just a year ago a young looking Davis Webb stepped onto the practice field sporting a skinny 6’4” frame and fighting to be the starting quarterback.
Fast forward to present day and Webb has transformed into a confident, mature sophomore. Throw in 20 pounds of added muscle and a haircut and you've got this year's starting quarterback at Texas Tech.
He is just a completely different person and his confidence is as fierce as ever which is something he'll need being the leader of the Red Raiders. There's no one better to take after than his own coach Kliff Kingsbury.
