Former Red Raiders in the NFL

A couple of Red Raiders heard their name called over the draft weekend, as Jace Amaro went 49th overall to the Jets, while Will Smith went in the 7th round 238th overall will be going to training camp with the Dallas Cowboys.

Three other red raiders signed as free agents, as Eric Ward will go to camp with the Tennessee Titans, and Kerry Hyder will join Jace Amaro as a member of the New York Jets. Hyder is looking forward to continue playing with his former Tech teammate. Terrance Bullitt was originally signed by the Baltimore Ravens, after passing his initial physical, but tweeted Tuesday that after further evaluation the shoulder was deemed to risky by Baltimore tweeting, “"although I passed my physical with the Baltimore Ravens,” he tweeted, “I was told after further evaluations on my shoulder I was too high of a risk. Therefore god closes one door for another one 2 open, I appreciate all the support n I will wait patient to see what the next page in life is for me. My head is up and spirit is up. All I want is a shot to show that I’m fine and ready to play. Thanks again everybody."
