The Texas Tech football team is wrapping up spring practice before they break for spring break today, but some former Red Raiders had a big day preparing for their futures at their NFL pro day.
All 32 NFL teams had representatives on campus this morning watching 13 players off of last year’s team as well as a handful of older players like Alex Torres and Darrin Moore going through the workouts. Many of these players like Bruce Jones got their first chance to make impressions on those scouts. Jones had the highest vertical of 41 inches and best 40-time at 4.50. Meanwhile guys like Kerry Hyder and Jace Amaro looked to improve on their combine performances and they feel that is exactly what they did.
