Now to some high school basketball in our area as we had some big games that carried district race implications, and we start with the Frenship Tigers try to stay unbeaten, in 4-4A play, taking on Jesus Arenas' Lubbock High Westerners on the road.

The Westerners hang tough early as Will Perrin gets the ball underneath, and kisses it off the window to pull the Westerners within two.

Later in the 1st, Frenship worked the ball movement from Callen Stewart to Marcos Schuster, Frenship trying to distance themselves at 10-4.

Still in the 1st, Jose Villalobos finds Juwan Warener down low, who drew the contact, no foul called, but its good anyways Lubbock high back within 4.

Frenship was still up four, when Collin Houghton made a beautiful move to avoid the defenders for the lay-in to put the Tigers back up six, as Frenship remains unbeaten in 4-4A play with a 58-43 win.
