Frenship Defeats Lubbock High in Game One, 9-2

Now to a busy weekend of high school baseball here in the hub city, Lubbock High and Frenship starting up their regional quarter-final matchup this evening over at Hays Field.

Lubbock High tried to avenge their regular season series loss.

Top of the first, Chase Sarchet doubled through the left field side knocking in two runs for the early 2-0 lead.

Next batter Hunter Douglas hit a blooper to short in which Michael Davis couldn't handle the short hop so Sarchet scored from second, 3-0 Frenship.

Next inning Shane Browning settled in, getting Chad Curtis swinging.

But the Tigers would take game one, 9-2.

Game two of this series tomorrow back at hays field at 5:00 p.m.
