The RJ Reynolds Demons from Winston Salem, North Carolina made their swing through West Texas this week, splitting their two games with LCHS, making Friday's game the rubber match out at Eagle Field.

In the bottom of the first, Brook Ricks popped one up in the infield allowing Tanner Schrader to cross the plate for a 1-0 Eagle lead.

It would be pitching and defense through the body of the game. It the top of the sixth inning, James Handberger got Shane Sullivan swinging for the third out.

Then in the bottom of the inning, Brooks Pitanello was caught looking to end the frame.

So, the Demons would be at the plate in the top of the 7th and they would load the bases for pitcher Robby Casey. He would hit a blooper to right field plating the game-tying run. The game winning run right behind him but Tate Sparks' throw is in time as he is out at the plate.

So, the Eagles would go to bat but a quick three-up three-down sent the game into extra's. But the Demons from RJ Reynolds capture the 2-1 win in eight innings and take the series from the Eagles.
