LCU's Season Comes To An End With Loss To Angelo State

SAN ANGELO, TX - The season came to an end for Lubbock Christian with a 6-1 loss to Angelo State.

Russell Reber could only manage 4.1 innings pitched giving up five runs on nine hits. The Chaps offense didn't provide much help, they could only muster one run on four hits.

Rams' pitcher Jake Mathys pitched seven scoreless inning in relief silencing the Lubbock Christian bats.

LCU finished the season 38-16 winning the Heartland Conference regular season title.
