Texas Tech struggled in the first half, shooting 35 percent from the field to Oklahoma's 50 percent. Turnovers were also an issue that would lead to 14 points for the Sooners.
Down by nine points at the break, the Red Raiders pulled the game within five points following two blocks by Jordan Tolbert that would lead to fast break points by Jaye Crockett and Dusty Hannahs.
But Cameron Clark and Buddy Heild, scoring 17 and 18 points respectively, would see to it that that would be the closest the Red Raiders would get, going on to win 74-65.
Texas Tech has now lost two games in a row and drop to 2-5 in Big 12 play.
