The Texas Tech men's tennis team was looking to extend its winning streak when the Red Raiders hosted 26th ranked Louisville Thursday night.

In doubles, Felipe Soares and Hugo Dojas took care of business to tie things up with the Cardinals, so it would be up to Max Hinnesdaels and Fransisco Zambon over on court 3.

Hinnesdaels would net his return on match point, though, as the Red Raiders drop the doubles point.

Later in singles play, Hinnisdaels made up for it taking his match in straight sets to tie the overall match at one.

Then on court one Felipe Soares fought back in the first set from 0-2 to win it 6-3 and would go on to take the second set as well, 6-2, which would give Tech the 2-1 lead.

They would go on to win the match 4-2.
