Well the Coronado Mustang football program has their new head coach and they didn't have to look far to find him, as Seth Parr was unanimously approved by the LISD school board on Tuesday morning.
Parr, a graduate of Plainview High School, has spent the last seven seasons as the head coach at Amarillo Caprock taking them from a doormat to a district champion in just four seasons. Parr is hoping to take a Coronado program that has been down, winning just five games in the last three years, and turn it into one that competes for championships.
