The Lubbock Christian Eagles played host to the RJ Reynolds Demons Thursday evening.
In the top of the first, with no outs and a runner on for Reynolds’ Shane Sullivan, he would line one to short allowing Ty Andrews to cross the plate, 1-0 Demons.
Then a few batters later, Ben Cook drove in Drew Fisch with a base hit to right field, so, the Demons would put up three in the first inning.

Then in the bottom of the inning, Tate Ellison got a piece of one, crushing it over the fence in left center field to cut into the deficit with a solo home run, 3-1 Reynolds still leading.
And the Demons would hold on to take the 8-6 victory, the rubber match is tomorrow night out at Eagle Field
