Tahoka Softball Slugs Past New Deal

The howling wind wasn’t enough to stop the Tahoka Lady Bulldogs as they slugged their way past New Deal 16-10.

With Tahoka down 3-1in the first, Laura Henderson stopped the bleeding with a strikeout to get out of the inning.

In the top of the 2nd, with the games tied at three, Amanda Hill ripped one inside the bag, which brought in Caley Bingham, And the Lady Dawgs regained the lead by one.

New Deal would answer in the bottom of the inning in the form of a  Rachel Ramirez, who singled home McKenzie Johnson, to knot the game at four.

But the scoring was far from over as Tahoka won a wild one 16-10.
