Tech Lets one Slip Away at Home

A record crowd of 6,086 students watched Texas Tech suffer another close loss at United Spirit Arena on Tuesday.

With Kansas State's 60-56 win, the Red Raiders have now lost six Big 12 games by six points or less.

Texas Tech led by as many as nine points in the second half but the tide turned with 9:09 remaining.

Jordan Tolbert's flagrant foul sparked a 20-5 Wildcat run that put the Kansas State up 54-47.

The Red Raiders would reclaim the lead with 1:19 remaining but the Wildcats score the final six points of the game to secure the win.

Texas Tech falls to 13-15 overall and 5-10 in Big 12 play with the loss.
