Tech picked 6th in Preseason Big 12 Media Poll

The Red Raiders were picked 6th in the Big 12 preseason media poll on Thursday, with 56 ballots cast.
The Oklahoma Sooners ran away with first place garnering 47 of the 56 first place votes, with the remaining nine votes going to the 2nd place Baylor Bears. Bill Snyder’s Kansas State Wildcats are slotted in third followed by the Longhorns in Charlie Strong’s first season. The Oklahoma State Cowboys check in 5th just in front of the 6th place Red Raiders. After being picked by some to win the conference a year ago the TCU Horned Frogs came in 7th, while West Virginia, Iowa State and Kansas rounded out the poll, respectively.
Big 12 Media Days begin next Monday, June 21st, in Dallas.
