Texas Tech Baseball Stomps New Mexico State, 15-2

On the heels of a nine-game home winning streak the Texas Tech baseball team was looking for win number 10 in game two against the New Mexico State Aggies. 

The Red Raiders took a 2-0 series lead with a 15-2 thrashing of the Aggies Friday night at Rip Griffin Park at Dan Law Field.

Dominic Moreno got his usual Friday start going in with a 1.65 ERA. He started off well in the first inning, striking out Joseph Koerper to retire the side. He would pitch 5 innings, allowing one earned run on three hits with three strikeouts while earning his first win of the season.

The Red Raiders has six players with multi-hit games, while recording five triples which is the most since a school-record six were recorded in 1975. Jake Barrios led the charge going 4-for-5 with a triple and 4 RBI.
