The Lubbock High baseball team was able to advance past Canyon Randall in the bi-district round of the playoffs, and now they are on to El Paso Eastlake.

The Westerners have really been in playoff mode for the last month or so, as they finished up district 4-4A play, playing two state ranked teams in the 2nd place Frenship Tigers and the 4-4A champion Monterey plainsmen. So they came into the playoffs facing some of the toughest competition possible, which helped them in round one and they hope to carry that over to round three.
