Wayland Baptist Falls to OPSU

Wayland Baptist Football lost to Oklahoma Panhandle State 35-24.

OPSU scored the final 28 points of the game to erase a 24-7 deficit.

Freshman Quarterback Daniel Campos, who filled in for the injured Mitchell Parsley, finished 10-36 with a touchdowns and two interceptions. Receiver Devonte Hayden caught four passes for 105 yards.

Meanwhile, on defense, Michael Nealy led the Pioneers with 14 tackles.

Next week, WBU heads to Waxahachie to take on No. 23 Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
