Staying in District 4-1A we continue our South Plains Preseason Blitz with the Wellman-Union Wildcats.

The team comes into the 2014 season with a new attitude and ready to take this program to new heights under head coach Issac Martinez.

They are ready to make some people take notice and will have plenty of opportunities to do it against teams in non-conference like Meadow, and a father-son showdown as Issac goes head to head with his dad Felix.

"the attitudes have been great, the kids are excited. overall they're looking forward to this year and really changing things around this year," Wellman-Union Head Football Coach, Isaac Martinez said. "The vibes obviously have been great the past couple of days, i think what gets them going this year is being able to play against lorenzo against my dad and playing osme of our rivalries against meadow and brand new district and being able to compete in that district."

"We've always been considered the underdogs so we go out there and fight hard and try our best," said senior, Martin Loewen.
