Where Are They Now: Brad Crow

Where Are They Now: Brad Crow

Brad Crow fell in love with the game of basketball very early in his life. Despite not having a basketball hoop at his home as a kid, he knew it was the sport for him when his grandmother gave him a Magic Johnson basketball.  He says between that and watching the Lakers and 76ers face off in the NBA Finals, he really found a love for the sport.

The sport would continue to stay in his life all through high school and college as he was an All-Region standout at Loop High School before going to play basketball at Lubbock Christian University.

Once his playing days were done, he went into coaching, a profession he always knew that he wanted to pursue since high school.

He began his basketball coaching career at Ralls High School for one year before he moved on to Lubbock Christian High School in 1998, where he's been since. In his time at LCHS, he's created a strong basketball tradition, as his teams finished as Regional Finalists five times, made the State Tournament four times, finished as TAPPS State Runner-Up once and won a TAPPS State Championship in 2013.

On top of this he's won the Don Coleman Outstanding Coach Award twice and the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal Coach of the Year Award once, as he continues to be one of the best basketball coaches that West Texas has to offer.
