Many folks may recognize Tim Perrin as the President of Lubbock Christian University. What many folks might not know about Perrin's past accomplishments on both the diamond and the hardwood. While in high school at Lubbock Christian, Perrin was a stand out player in both baseball and basketball. When it came time to chose for college, Perrin went with hoops. His father Les started the baseball program at LCU and was the head coach of the basketball team, so his love of the game started under his own roof as a kid. Perrin would go on to be a four year letterman at LCU. When his playing days were over, he attended Texas Tech University School of Law. Perrin became an accomplished trial lawyer, but was given a rare opportunity to teach at Pepperdine. In 2012, his alma mater called he and his family home to Texas where he became the sixth president of LCU. Perrin says his passion for athletics and the skills he learned from being part of a team put him down the path that has led to a great deal of personal and professional success.
