Texas Tech used a 21-6 run to tie the game at 50 but could never take the lead in Saturday's 73-62 loss to Iowa State.

The Red Raiders (8-6, 0-1 Big 12) fell behind by as many as 17 points in the first half before getting back into the game thanks in part to Jaye Crockett's game-high 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Dusty Hannahs added 16 points in the loss.

Texas Tech hosts West Virginia (9-5, 1-0 Big 12) at 6 p.m. Monday at United Spirit Arena.
