“Davis Webb is back with a year of experience,” said Ryan Hyatt. “[There are] a lot of high hopes and expectations for this young man.”
One of the concerns for Red Raider Nation was his weight. Could he gain enough weight to withstand hits from Big 12 defensive players? As of the last bowl game he was 215 pounds and could have used a little more bulk on his 6’4” frame.
Last year Webb had 13 touchdowns and no interceptions. Webb is expected to return as the starting quarterback this coming season, and we look forward to seeing him in August.
