In her first start of the season, Chynna Brown stepped up big for the Lady Raiders contributing on both sides of the court with a game high 19 points and seven rebounds.
Tech's leading scoring Kierra Mallard left the game in the first half with a possible knee injury and never returned. Mallard will have an MRI Monday to determine her status.
The Lady Raiders pulled away in the second half with a 16-5 run to seal the 10-point win.
Texas Tech (17-7, 5-7 Big 12) will look to keep the momentum going on the road when they take on Texas Wednesday.
