LUBBOCK, TX - Texas Tech baseball coach Tim Tadlock will not be in the dugout for Friday's series opener with TCU.
Tadlock was suspended for two games following his ejection in the third inning of Tuesday's 16-5 loss to New Mexico.
According to a Texas Tech official, Tadlock was suspended pursuant to NCAA rule 2-26-h, 5-15-a(4), Appendix D, which is a supension for prolonged or continued arguing, excessive expressions directed at an umpire after an ejection.
Tadlock was not with the team for Wednesday's 27-15 win over the Lobos.
He is eligible to return for Saturday's game against TCU.
