Plainview was still looking for their first win as they visited Caprock tonight.

In the first quarter, Plainview's Paxstyn Oldfield found Keevon Crump for a good pick up. Those two would connect later on in the drive for a 51 yard touchdown, Plainview up 7-0.

Caprock would answer with a Victor Rodriguez-Malik Yarbrough combo. Yarbrough got the ball down at the one yard line.

Caprock goes to the ground and Caleb Estrada gets the 1-yard score to tie the game at 7.

Later Plainview was backed up in it’s own territory as Caprock’s defense made a nice stop. But it wouldn't last. Oldfield made a completion to Quenion Hines who went 68 yards into the end zone to make it 14-7.

Caprock tried to answer as Rodriguez went deep to Jordan Atkinson for pick up of 36 yards down to the five. Caprock would go for it on fourth and short, but Plainview's defense would hold.

However, Caprock would go on to win, 30-21.
