The Cooper Baseball team had quite a year last year advancing to the State Semi-Finals and beating the Stephenville Yellow Jackets to do so, well here we are, seven months later but this time it’s with that brown ball that bounces funny.

Coach Kattwinkel inherited a team that struggled last year losing four games by just one point each, which is exactly the way they started 2013. But this team has continued to improve under coach Katt carrying an 11-2 record into their regional final game against Stephenville, and it is those close games over the past two years that have prepared this team to get farther than any football team in Cooper history.
