LHS Head Coach Jason Strunk Accepts the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Jason Strunk went above and beyond completing the ALS Ice Bucket challenge with his coaching staff at Lubbock High.

Strunk, challenged by KLBK Sports Director, Matt Roberts got into a trashcan full of ice while members of his coaching staff doused him with several more buckets. A cold and wet Strunk challenged Lubbock High Principal, Doug Young, along with fellow LISD head coaches, Seth Parr at Coronado, Wayne Hutchinson at Monterey and Danny Servance at Estacado.  Assistant coach, Tyler Trout  also challenged the Lubbock High Football team.

Lubbock High begins their season on Friday, August 29th in Sweetwater against the Mustangs.
