The Lockney Longhorns are continuing to build their program in coach Jay Ragland’s second season at the helm.
The Longhorns went just 3-7 last season hut have plenty of experience coming back, but will have to replace quarterback Ky Teeter, but coach Ragland thinks the depth they have surround the quarterback position should help.
“We've got depth this year for once,” Ragland said. “It's one of the few years we've more than a couple guys at each position. We're pretty deep at receiver, offensive line, so I look for a good season.”
The Longhorns open the season on Friday August 29th at 7:30, at home against the Lubbock Christian Eagles.
