The Plainview Bulldogs fell in a tough match-up with the Randall Raiders 21-0 in their season opener.

With no score in the first quarter, Brett Taff connected with Logan Nix in the back of the end-zone for the Randall touchdown, to make it 7-0.

It was still 7-0 in the 2nd quarter when Plainview, looked to have something going when Paxton Oldfield hit Trendan Jackson for a first down on their drive.

Later in the drive, though, Randall's Cade Satterwhite, for Randall, sacked Oldfield helping out that raider defense, and bringing up a 4th down. On 4th down Oldfield looked for Louis Orozco butbut couldn’t make the connection, as the ball went over on downs. That was the story of the night for the Bulldogs who were unable to get anything going, as they were shutout 21-0 in their season opener. The Bulldogs get back in action next week, on the road at Amarillo Palo Duro.
