The Anton Bulldogs enter 2014 Looking to build on their playoff run from a year ago.
They return three starters on both offense and defense, but one of their strengths in 2014 will be the continuity among the players and the staff, and that has head coach Clint Linman excited for the possibilities.
"Our success last year,” Linman said, “A lot of those kids were a part of it and I've got two seniors who have been with me for three years, going on four years and they're kind-of the meat of our team, they're good leaders and they were a big part of our success the last two years."
Senior William Cole, is one of those two seniors and he is able to bring some of the younger players along and show them the way.
"It helps fill those roles that have already been there,” Cole Said. “It helps you, if you've already done something, you kind-of just jump back in."
After a hard summer fellow senior Rigo Barrera is ready to see that hard work pay off.
"I'm very excited,” he said. “I've been waiting for quite a bit, working out here all summer, I'm just ready to get back at it."
