But here are the top-6 teams making the cut:
No surprise here. Alabama is in the No.1 spot, but we'll have to see how the first few games pan out for the Crimson Tide before talking a 3-peat.
Ohio State comes in at No.2, as they had a perfect 2012 season; however were not able to compete in a bowl game due to NCAA sanctions.
Then Oregon get No.3, followed by Stanford at No.4.
The No.5 spot goes to Georgia, and barely missing a top-5 rank, the Aggies of Texas A&M are No.6.
And just in case you're wondering, here's where the only teams picked today, out of the Big 12 Conference, place on the Preseason Top-25 Coaches Poll:
We've got the Oklahoma State Cowboys at No.14, followed by the Longhorns from Texas in the 15th spot.
The Oklahoma Sooners sit right behind that at No.16.
And then the TCU Horned Frogs top it off for the Conference, trailing at No.20.
This is the first time since the Conference began in 1996 that the Big 12 has no teams listed in the top-10.
