LUBBOCK, TX -- One of Lubbock’s largest employers reported a net loss last week.
NTS said in a written statement, “For the nine months ended September 30, 2013, NTS reported a net loss of $1.1 million or a loss of $0.03 per basic and diluted share.”
NTS continues to expand its FTTP or Fiber to the Premise network. The network is now operating in many Texas and Louisiana towns. Revenue from FTTP increased 28.2% in the third quarter of 2013.
NTS recently announced a merger agreement with Tower Three Partners, a private equity firm.

NTS employs 200 or more people in Lubbock.
