Bitter Cold, Winter Storm Watch

The coldest air mass of the season is moving toward the South Plains.

LUBBOCK, TX -- The coldest air mass of the season is moving toward the South Plains.  The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the area from 6 a.m. Thursday until 12 p.m. Friday. 

According the KAMC HD StormTeam, the South Plains could received between one to three inches of snow and sleet by Friday morning.  Caution is advised for motorists traveling on late Thursday into Friday.  This frigid weather will last into the beginning of next week.
